1969 SHELBY GT500 FASTBACK

By 1969 the Shelby Mustang had largely grown into the ultimate GT express, particularly as the GT500. Featuring full instrumentation, Shelby Mustangs provided drivers with information like road speed, engine speed, trip mileage, oil pressure, alternator amperage and more. This GT500 wears authentic Shelby GT500 wheels wrapped with period-correct Goodyear Polyglas tires and features restoration photos, a Marti Report and build sheet. Listed in the Shelby Registry, the dashboard has been signed by Carroll Shelby.

While it is rare enough in Grabber Yellow, the unique collection of options marks 2578 as a penultimate example of Shelby’s GT express.
