Aston Martin DB10 from SPECTRE Sells for £2.4M

So as promised, Christie’s auctioned off one of the undamaged Aston Martin DB10 movie cars from the latest James Bond flick, SPECTRE. And, as expected, the car went for big bucks as the final gavel landed on an amazing bid of £2,434,500. Aston Martin DB10 from SPECTRE Sells for £2.4M

The auctioned Aston Martin DB10 was one of the eight cars produced for the movie and one of only two kept intact as show cars. So apart from the Bond connection, this thing is an utterly unique possession. Chances are Aston will never sell the other DB10, which makes this the only one in the world and its owner one happy dude.

The best part of last night’s Aston Martin DB10 auction was that all the proceeds from the sale of the car will go to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders), a global humanitarian aid organisation that provides medical care and support to victims of armed conflict, epidemics and other disasters.

Although it’s a V12 Vantage underneath, the DB10 comes with a completely bespoke body and interior, garnished with lots of 007 logos and hints, as if the looks weren’t unique enough. Hard-core Bond fans might be disappointed that the DB10 does not feature any special trick like machine guns or ejector seat, but we think this is a lot cooler. By: motorward
