Blue Bugatti EB110 Heading to RM Sotheby’s Auction

At RM Sotheby’s Arizona auctions in late January, a own owner 1993 Bugatti EB110 is set to be auctioned off. Pre-auction estimates suggest that it will sell for between $575,000 and $775,000, making it certainly a reasonable buy for any enthusiast supercar and Bugatti collectors.   Blue Bugatti EB110

This particular EB110 is just the sixth unit produced out of the 139 example production run. Like with most, it is finished in an insanely bright shade of blue and thanks to this paint scheme and its styling, it is instantly recognisable as a Bugatti, even to the uninitiated. Inside, the car has been adored with grey leather across the sports seats and steering wheel while a collection of fabrics are also found within, particularly across the dashboard.

Launched at a similar time to the McLaren F1, the EB110 has perhaps never received the attention or recognition it deserves and to this day, the performance it offers is blinding.

Powering the car is quad-turbocharged V12 engine delivering 550 hp mated to a six-speed manual transmission sending power to all four wheels. All that power results in a 342 km/h top speed.

Some of the key design elements of the EB110 include its familiar Bugatti horseshoe grille (albeit significantly smaller than the Veyron’s), its curiously shaped headlights, the retractable rear wing and the glass engine cover. By: GtSpirit
