In an effort to introduce the macho Challenger to a whole class, Dodge has come up with a new concept version of the car at this year’s SEMA show. The heavily tricked-out Dodge Challenger GT AWD is a thoroughly improved version of the muscle car. It’s like a Harvard-educated thug!
The interior has been upgraded as well, featuring Katzkin leather seats, center console, shifter boot and side panels, as well as suede accents, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and Mopar door sills.
The best part of Dodge Challenger GT AWD though is what’s under the bonnet. It’s a 5.7-liter HEMI with Scat Pack 3 Performance Kit including Mopar cylinder heads, Mopar hi-flow manifolds and hi-flow catalysts for an additional 75 horsepower and 44 lb.-ft. of torque. It sends its power to all four wheels via an eight-speed transmission. By: motorward
