Cars keep getting better and better.
Zenos is a little known brand of track cars that enjoys success from competing with the Ariel Atom and the Caterham Seven. These cars are raw track vehicles meant for maximum fun and minimum practicality.
Adding to their impracticality is the fact that these track-only toys cost upwards of $50,000. You can buy a new M3 for the price of an Atom! Zenos changed that by lowering the entry price for driving purity when it introduced the Zenos E-10, a $39,000 track car with a 2.0-liter Ford EcoBoost engine making 200 horsepower.
This kind of power helps the 1,430-pound frame get from standstill to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, but now Zenos has a new car in case you need more oomph. The newest version of the E-10 will nearly double the horsepower from 200 to 350 horses by using either a 2.0-liter or 2.3-liter Ford EcoBoost.
This will put the light track car in the power to weight ratio class of the Bugatti Veyron with nearly 500 horsepower per ton. While prices remain unclear, the new Zenos E10 will undoubtedly be less expensive than the $72,900 Caterham Seven 620R, its main competitor. Now you can embarrass your supercar owning buddies at the price of a luxury sedan. By: Carbuzz
