Posaidon has just become the latest tuner to unveil its range of modifications for the Mercedes-AMG GT and GT S.

As you’d expect, the tuner has focused its energy on the twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 of the German sports car. Typically, the AMG GT pumps out 462 hp and 600 Nm of torque while the range-topping AMG GT S delivers 510 hp and 650 Nm. The Posaidon Mercedes-AMG GTRS lifts those figures to 700 hp and 750 Nm.

The gains have been achieved thanks to modified turbochargers, a larger intercooler, bespoke exhaust with free-flowing motorsport grade catalytic converters and some ECU tuning. The 750 Nm of torque figure can be limited if requested by the customer but as standard, is limited to ensure the longevity of the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Posaidon also offers its customers the chance to permanently deactivate the start-stop feature.

Thanks to the horsepower and torque increases, the Posaidon Mercedes-AMG GTRS will accelerate to 100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds as well as a 349 km/h top speed. By: GtSpirit
