Mercedes has officially unveiled the “most beautiful and exclusive S-Class cars of all time”, Mercedes S-Class Cabrio.

The new Mercedes S-Class Cabrio closely echoes the S-Class Coupe model, but the car eschews the fixed roof for a retractable three-layer acoustic soft top which is available in black, beige, dark blue, and dark red. The roof of S-Class Cabrio can be opened or closed in approximately 20 seconds at speeds up to 37.2 mph (60 km/h).

Let’s moving on to interior of the car, there also follows in the footsteps of the coupe but it gains an all-new THERMOTRONIC intelligent climate control system which promises to keep occupants comfortable regardless of whether the roof is opened or closed. The Mercedes S-Class Cabrioalso offers an extensive assortment of upholstery choices including leather, nappa leather as well as designo Exclusive nappa leather.


The car also can be equipped with a Warmth Comfort package which includes a heated multifunction steering wheel, heated seats, along with heated armrests. The entry-level Mercedes S500 Cabrio is powered by a twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 that can produces 455 PS (335 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. If you need more power, you can opt for the S63 AMG or S63 AMG 4MATIC Cabrio which have a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that cranks out 585 PS (430 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. The engine allows the AWD variant to accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds and reach top speed at 155 mph (250 km/h).


The Mercedes S-Class Cabrio will on display in Germany dealerships in December and the first deliveries are slated for the spring of next year.
