Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV

It’s about time somebody rendered the upcoming Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the firm’s first-ever SUV. Test mules for this vehicle have been out and about for a while now, and we can expect it to see it, in pre-production form at least, towards the end of this year.

In rendering the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV, designer X-Tomi Design has used the face of the Ghost and fixed that to the body of a regular utility vehicle. Rest assured, the suicide doors are there, as are the two-tone paint job with the grille, bonnet, pillars and roof finished in a luxurious silver.

Being a SUV, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan you see here features fender flares and underbody protection, and although they are all designed with utmost care, there is still something wrong about seeing these bits on a Roller. It’s just unnatural. This is a good design, but objectively, it is far from good-looking.

But as Rolls-Royce learned with the Drophead, and then the Ghost, and then the Wraith, is that they are kind of like Ferrari. It doesn’t matter what they build and to for what purpose. People are still going to buy them. By: motorward
