This Is The Hellcat-Powered Jeep Wrangler Of Your Dreams

You don’t need 707 horsepower off-road but why not have it anyway?

Dodge’s Hellcat engine currently sits in two muscle cars, the Charger and Challenger. We’ve heard rumblings that it’ll soon be inside a special Jeep Grand Cherokee but we haven’t gotten any official confirmation.

That means expanding the Hellcat lineup is the responsibility of aftermarket companies, such as Chambersburg, Pennsylvania’s, own Hauk Designs. That outfit has dropped a Hellcat engine into a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, creating a four-wheel drive off-roader with a staggering 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

The awesome news is that it’s for sale. Wait, that’s not correct. There’s not just one being made for sale but 50. We expect the entire production run to be snapped up pretty soon because, well, Hellcat. In addition to the new engine the Wrangler gets a number of other new bits. The transmission is a Mercedes-Benz 5G-Tronic, which means no true manual option is on offer.

A few of the other additions include a sport-tuned suspension, new HID headlights, an upgraded six-piston Baer brake system and upgraded driveshafts. The entire package sits on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires. Pricing hasn’t been announced but we don’t expect the Hellcat Wrangler Rubicon to come cheap. By: Carbuzz
